Community
La Salle Hotel School is honoured to be based in the Croxteth and Norris Green communities of Liverpool, in the former home of the De La Salle Brothers’ (who lived in the house and built and taught in the former De La Salle school next door) continuing a proud tradition of educational commitment to the young people and families of the area.
Our mission is to build an asset the community can be proud of and make use of with meeting rooms and catering provision for local benefit. We are very open to pop-up uses as we await the full refurbishment of the building.
Partner With Us
We want to partner with anyone in the Liverpool City Region and local community to enhance the project at La Salle.
We are already working with established organisations locally and in the wider region. Myerscough College are one of our longest and closest collaborators in the Kitchen Garden, and City of Liverpool College are our partners in hospitality education, while the St Andrew’s Community Network is a valued and trusted companion in the neighbourhood as is Cobalt Housing our local social housing provider.
From the beginning we were thrilled and honoured to be sponsored by The Art School Restaurant and Chef Patron Paul Askew and The Titanic Hotel and GM Brian Connor. We welcome any interest from the hospitality sector who want to help us craft and shape the training provision to help our trainees get the best possible start in the sector.
